In the meal plan a few weeks ago, we made this Macro-Friendly Ground Beef Philly Skillet, and it was a total hit. I’ve since shared the recipe on the blog and Instagram including how I love to serve it on a toasted bun with some aioli! And since then, I’ve had so many people ask me about the recipe for the sauce. So I thought I’d write up this Quick Mustard Aioli Sauce recipe for easy reference!

This mustard aioli sauce is so easy and simple and the perfect thing to pair with my Macro-friendly Ground Beef Philly Skillet. You could put this on other things as well, like a sandwich! It’s SO good.

This mustard aioli is so simple and you only need a few ingredients to bring it all together.

What You Need to Make Mustard Aioli

This recipe is great to whip up on a weeknight because you likely have everything you need in your fridge already. This recipe calls for less than 5 ingredients, and that’s including salt!

Here’s what you need to make this mustard aioli…

  • Low-fat Greek yogurt (You can swap this out for low-fat sour cream or plant-based sour cream, if you need it to be dairy-free. Just use what you’ve got. The change in macros is pretty negligible)
  • Lite mayo
  • Honey mustard (like French’s)
  • Grainy Dijon
  • Salt

Let me emphasize that you don’t skip the grainy Dijon mustard!

While this recipe only uses a small amount of grainy Dijon mustard, I love to use it in so many of my other recipes. So if you’re worried about buying an entire bottle just for this recipe, here are some other recipes that use it too! I really love this Weekly Bulk Apple-Cider Dijon Grilled Chicken, this Almost Classic Cottage Cheese Chicken Salad, or even this Easy Salmon and Chive Salad.

Don’t be scared of having too many condiments filling up your fridge, because there are so many good uses for grainy Dijon mustard, and it adds great flavor to your recipes! Have I convinced you yet? Ha.

How to Make Mustard Aioli

This is a super simple recipe that is beyond easy to make. Combine the ingredients in a small bowl, and ta-da! You’ve got the perfect spread to use on your sandwiches, wraps, burgers, or even crunch wraps, all week long.

If you’re not familiar, crunch wraps are one of my all-time favorite lunches. I eat them all the time, and I even have an entire cookbook dedicated to them. The best crunch wraps are stuffed with protein and veggies and then wrapped in a Cut-Da-Carb wrap, then placed in a hot pan to get a good sear. Add a little parmesan cheese on the outside, and boom! You’ve got the perfect crunch wrap.

I usually use laughing cow cheese as a spread on my crunch wraps, but this mustard aioli would be amazing too. You can find some easy crunch wrap recipes on my blog or in the cookbook.

If you want to try crunch wraps, you absolutely need the Cut Da Carb wraps. You can’t convince me there’s anything better.

You can buy the Cut Da Carb wraps online, and if you get a 24-pack, use code LILLIE10 to save a little off the top.

Is this Mustard Aioli Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free?

Yes! This mustard aioli recipe is both dairy-free and gluten-free, as long as you use your plant-based sour cream.

This mustard aioli sauce goes great on any sandwich, wrap, or even hamburger, but I wrote it with this yummy Ground Beef Philly Skillet recipe in mind!

If you’re going to eat it with this skillet, just toast your buns and then spread a thin layer on your bun before topping it with the ground beef.

Want something to go with the sandwich? I love having a side of carrot fries or a fresh green salad topped with my favorite Peach White Balsamic Vinegar from Baker and Olive.
