Tacos. THE BEST. So many different options, but if you want to keep things light, turkey tacos are the perfect choice! You can use what you’ve got in the fridge, or you might want more of a recipe…like the ones on my blog

For turkey tacos, I LOVE this recipe for simple roasted taco meat. So easy and tastier than the seasoning packet you get at the store. After you have your protein (in this case, turkey), then you need to figure out the BEST part…TOPPINGS! So here’s what to serve with turkey tacos IMO….

Prepping Your Turkey for Tacos

When it comes to eating macro-friendly, I LOVE to prep a bulk protein and sauce that I can use throughout the week. Starting dinner from scratch 5 nights a week, not my jam. Starting dinner with a protein and just having to add some veggies and sides? Life-changing.

In fact, that’s the principle on which I based my entire first cookbook, LEAT.  I’ve also created a second cookbook, PLANNED, that’s laid out in a similar format.

These cookbooks were extremely popular (and my favorite way to cook, so I also created a dinner-only meal plan subscription that does all the meal planning for you, so you can have a bulk protein every week that you can use in 2-3 meals, and then two quick meals you can whip up throughout the week. So easy.

So if you want to make turkey tacos, I DEFINITELY recommend making double the batch and a homemade sauce to drizzle on everything, then using it throughout the week in salads, skillets, sandwiches, etc.

Read my meal planning and meal prepping post for more info on how I save time and money while still eating yummy and healthy! And of course, you can always get my app here too (first 7 days free)!
