Easter is almost here, and that can be really stressful, and fun, and meaningful. Of course, there’s so much more to Easter than the baskets and the food. But if you’re in charge of making the meal for the whole family, it can feel overwhelming ESPECIALLY if you’re trying to count macros too. So if you need some suggestions, here are some of my macro-friendly favorites for your Easter meal…
#1 Wedge Salad with Creamy Blue Cheese Dressing
I love a good salad, and this Wedge Salad is perfect for spring! It’s so fresh and simple while still feeling super fancy. We love to pair ours with simple grilled meats either on the side or on top. It’s perfect and super easy to make, but probably best for small crowds since you have to use halves of an iceberg head of lettuce for each salad.
If you want to make a bigger salad that people can just self-serve, then this Cobb Salad with Lemon Basil Dressing is *chef’s kiss.* It’s light and lemony and just feels like spring. This salad is high in protein too. The recipe is written for just one person, but you can easily double it to make it for a family.
#2 Easy Blackened Chicken Tenderloins
Chicken tenderloins are my favorite, and I have an unabiding love for them. Just check the blog, and you’ll see that I have several chicken tenderloin recipes on there. They are so flavorful, juicy, and quick to make! Plus, great for macros.
This Easy Blackened Chicken Tenderloin is one my family uses all the time and tastes so GOOD! Of course, if you want something a little fancier than chicken–you can always make this Flank Steak. One of our favorites and so simple.
#3 Air Fryer Blackened Mahi Mahi
When it comes to spring and food, people generally think of FRESH. It’s time for light, fresh food that also tastes good. And this Mahi Mahi is exactly that.
I love to make this in the air fryer because it’s so easy, but you can also always make it in the oven too. Whatever works best for you. I know some of you aren’t fish fans, but for those of you who are, this one is just too good to skip!

#4 Berry and Goat Cheese Salad
Salads are the BEST because you can fit so many bits of deliciousness in there and still eat gigantic portions. I love salads so big that it makes my jaw hurt from all the chewing. Just me?
This Berry and Goat Cheese Salad is light enough that you can enjoy it as a side, OR you can eat the entire salad yourself as a meal. If you’re making this for your entire family, make sure to double the recipe. This recipe does have chicken in it already, so just keep that in mind when it comes to planning your proteins.

#5 Bacon Cheeseburger with Secret Sauce
If it’s warm enough to have a BBQ where you live, then you can enjoy the weekend with these delicious burgers. This Bacon Cheeseburger with Secret Sauce pulls out all the stops with caramelized onions, pickles, bacon and more sandwiched between a warm, toasty bun. YUM!
It is a turkey burger, but it tastes so good you’re sure to love it. You can pair it with a good salad like some of the ones listed above and/or you can pair it with these delicious carrot fries.
Of course, these carrot fries pale in comparison to a traditional crispy, deep-fried potato–but they’re REALLY good roasted carrots that pair perfectly with a yummy burger. And don’t skip on the Basil Yogurt Sauce. It’s crucial.

Another one of my macro-friendly favorites for your Easter meal is these delicious, macro-friendly loaded smashed potatoes.
#6 Macro-Friendly Loaded Smashed Potatoes
These macro-friendly loaded smashed potatoes are holiday staples at my house. They are perfect for any holiday, and they’re so GOOD! They’re great because they’re so flavorful while still easily fitting in your macros. A win-win.

As a bonus to your macro-friendly favorites for your Easter meal this year, I really love this Quick and Easy Pickle Chicken Salad. It’s not necessarily a typical holiday meal, but it’s GREAT for using up those leftover boiled eggs. So if you have some dyed eggs in your fridge that you don’t want to go to waste, then this chicken salad is perfect for you!
Macro-Friendly Favorites for Your Easter Meal
If you’re counting macros this Easter, then these recipes will hopefully make your meal planning a little bit easier. Just remember it’s all about BALANCE!
Having some healthy options mixed in with your traditional Easter treats (like these delicious NON macro-friendly brownies), can make sticking to your health goals so much easier. That way you can make sure to eat all the light, nutritious stuff while still having a few treats without feeling bloated and sick after. Eating macro-friendly not only can help you lose weight, but it can also just help you feel your best.
