Finding new delicious ways to eat veggies is the BEST, especially when they take no time at all to cook. I love making these simple Air Fryer Snap Peas for a quick snack or to pair as an easy side with dinner. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can also sauté them, but the air fryer is my FAVE.

These Air Fryer Snap Peas are super simple to make, and they taste so good! Sometimes the simplest of recipes are the best kind of recipes.

What You Need to Make Air Fryer Snap Peas

Making these snap peas is so easy, you only need a few ingredients AND there’s no chopping, mixing, or stirring. The BEST.

For this Air Fryer Snap Pea recipe, you’ll want to have…

  • 1lb bag of sugar snap peas
  • Olive Oil Spray (I like this kind with no propellants)
  • Salt & Pepper

Of course, you’ll also want an air fryer for this recipe, if you don’t already have one. And if you’ve been hesitant about getting an air fryer, I totally understand why. No one wants another appliance sitting on their counter that they won’t use. Now, I’m not a huge kitchen gadget person, but I LOVE my air fryer. It makes cooking so quick and easy, and I always grab it when I’m making something for lunch like these Air Fryer Salmon Hot Honey Bites. SO good. It gives them the perfect crisp.

How to Make Air Fryer Snap Peas

Making Air Fryer Snap Peas is so easy that it hardly needs a recipe. However, figuring out the time and temperature of air frying any veggie is always the hardest part. So I got that figured out for you. 👍

Simply spray your air fryer basket and add the snap peas. If you don’t want to make a mess in your air fryer, then you can also use these easy liners. Next, spray the snap peas with a light mist of olive oil, and sprinkle them with salt and pepper. Air fry at 370 degrees F for 4-5 minutes or until barely tender. Don’t overcook!

And that’s it! You have the perfect side or snack that’s super light and healthy.

For those of you who haven’t gotten an air fryer quite yet, you can also sauté these snap peas. Simply throw them in a hot skillet with a mist of oil, and sauté over medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Like I said, I prefer to air fry because I can just throw them in there while I make something else. But just do what works best for you!

Are Air Fryer Snap Peas Gluten-free and Dairy-free?

Yes! This recipe is so simple and it is gluten-free and dairy-free! If you’re looking for more recipes that are gluten-free and dairy-free, you can find some on my blog or in my cookbooks!

Serving Suggestions

This recipe makes about 4 servings at 57 calories each. That makes it fit super easily in your macros just about anywhere (if that matters to you).

I made this recipe to pair in the meal plan with one of my FAVORITE meals, Ground Chicken Peanut Butter Curry, from my cookbook, One More Time. If you want to make it, you can get the details tucked in the caption of this reel or you can get the meal plan!

This is a super simple veggie that you can pair with just about any meal! It’s great for when you’re short on time and just need to pop something in the air fryer real quick.
