What’s in your snack drawer right now? If it’s mostly bars and crackers, I’ve got some upgrades for you! Every one of these high-protein snack recipes has 10 grams of protein or more per serving, and most of them you can make once and grab all week.
There are savory bites and skewers, a few dips worth breaking out the veggies for, and sweet ones for when you NEED chocolate. A few of these started out as dinners, like my cottage cheese meatballs and Greek chicken skewers, so look for the “Snack it” tip under those to turn them into a quick bite.
Looking for lunchbox ideas for the kids? My healthy snacks for kids post has a whole list.

How Do You Get 30 Grams of Protein in a Snack?
Thirty grams is a BIG snack, but a few of these get you there. The egg white cups have 30.5 grams per serving, the chocolate mint protein ice cream sundae has 30, and a full serving of the Greek chicken skewers has 29.4. Most of the rest land between 10 and 25 grams, which is plenty to hold you over until dinner.
Tips for High-Protein Snacking
- Prep one savory and one sweet snack. Do it on the weekend so you’re not starting from zero when the cravings show up.
- Add produce. Veggies with the dips, fruit with the chia pudding. More volume, more staying power.
- Log it before you eat it. If you track, my post on how to create a recipe in MyFitnessPal walks you through adding homemade recipes.
- Still want a little treat? Have it! Just eat your protein snack first and enjoy the treat after.
