The sequel to my cookbook ONE is finally here, and it feels SURREAL. After all the tasting, calculating, testing, and tasting again…I finally have a physical copy that I can actually flip through in my hands. But since you can’t reach through the screen and flip through mine like a cookbook you might buy at the store, I thought a little rundown might be helpful. Here’s the gist…ONE More Time–a second volume of macro-friendly one-dish meals, focuses on delicious, comforting, yet still healthy one-dish meals.

One More Time-A Second Volume of Macro-friendly One-dish Meals

Very similar to ONE, but with all new recipes for you to try. ONE is always one of my most liked and positively reviewed books, so I’m really excited about the sequel–One More Time

One More Time–A Second Volume of Macro-friendly One-dish Meals

One More Time is the 5th cookbook in the Lillie Eats and Tells collection. Like the other four cookbooks, One More Time focuses on healthy, macro-friendly food for the macro-trackers and the non-trackers alike.

Each recipe is loaded into Myfitness Pal, Lose it, and Macros First to make tracking so much easier, especially when you’re cooking for a family or meal-prepping. A total game-changer if you haven’t experienced it before.

And if you don’t track, you’ll still have the confidence in knowing that you’re getting macro-balanced, filling, and healthy meals that will help you feel your best.

What to Expect in One More Time-A Second Volume of Macro-friendly One-dish Meals

Inside One More Time, you’ll find 70 recipes that I love, and I hope you’ll love too. A handful of these recipes are tried and true favorites from the blog and some others were leaked to my Instagram for some test tasters and feedback. (Now that the book has been published, those are only available in the cookbook.) There are also several new recipes that will be making their first debut!

Balsamic Shredded Beef - one dish, macro-friendly meals
Balsamic Shredded Beef

The intent behind this book is to create healthy and delicious recipes to help you reach your macro-goals while still being great for your entire family. And just like ONE, I can’t guarantee that you’ll only dirty one dish making these recipes, but the goal is to serve your entire family from only a single dish.

And to make it easier for you, all of these recipes are either Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free naturally, or they have super easy swaps, which are always noted with the updated macros.

Each recipe will have an estimated cooking time, the amount of servings it makes, the suggested portion size, and the macros per serving.

In One More Time, you’ll find that the cookbook is divided into six sections: Pots, Pans, Dishes, Sheets, Bowls, and Jars.

Pots

Minestrone soup with chicken

Pots is full of recipes for those busy nights when you want to throw something in the Instant Pot and walk away, or do something quick on your stove. You can prep it ahead of time or make it that night, and it’s sure to be a cozy meal. In pots, you’ll find curries, soups, pastas, and more.

Pans

Spaghetti Squash Pad Thai

Pans are skillets or recipes that I make on the stove. For me, having a big pan to make these in is essential. I love using a good enamel cast iron, or sometimes my huge 15-inch cast iron so that I can make everything in one big batch without overcrowding my pan.

Dishes

Dishes are macro-friendly casseroles the entire family will love. Sometimes these recipes start on the stove similar to the pan section, and transfer to the oven for finishing!

Roasted Veggie and sausage Egg Casserole

Lots of the recipes here will be easier with a skillet that is oven-safe. This is my favorite one here if you don’t have one already.

Sheets

There’s something magical about throwing chopped, fresh ingredients into the oven, walking away, and then pulling out a delicious meal that everyone would love 20ish minutes later…

Chicken Shawarma

For all my sheet pan meals, I love having a LARGE sheet pan, that way I can fit all those yummy veggies on one sheet.

Bowls

Okay, I am really EXCITED about this section. The bowls in this section primarily focus on giant salads that you can prep and store in the fridge, which makes any meal time so much easier.

There’s nothing that makes macro-counting harder than having to start from scratch every time you want to make a meal.

With these GIANT salads, you can put them in the fridge and have them for lunch all week long–so good and easy!

Jars

Jars are the secret weapon of macro-counting. Keeping a jar of your favorite, macro-friendly sauce can make any meal so much better. I always keep sauces on hand to throw on bowls, tacos, salads, and more.

One More Time–A Second Volume of Macro-friendly One-dish Meals

My hope with One More Time and all my other cookbooks is to make macro-counting and balanced eating as delicious as possible. You can get the hard copy and the digital version OR just the digital– depending on what works best for you!
