And I know slaw can get a bad rap because it tends to be a flavorless mayo blob stuffed into unwanted to-go containers, but this is not that! This one is packed with fresh veggies, and flavor and skips the mayo altogether.

What You Need to Make Cilantro Lime Slaw

The ingredients with this slaw are so simple. Get out your favorite knife and cutting board, and with a few quick chops, you’ll have a delicious slaw! And to make things quicker, you can just buy a bag of pre-shredded cabbage—a total timesaver.

Here are the few ingredients you’ll need:

  • bag of shredded cabbage
  • bunch of fresh cilantro
  • green onions
  • jalapeño
  • lime juice
  • salt

With all the ingredients, you’re ready to make the easiest slaw ever in just a few minutes.

How to Make Cilantro Lime Slaw

After everything is all chopped, just toss everything together with a quick squeeze of lime and sprinkle of salt!

Now that you’ve got a delicious slaw, you can use it as a base for a bowl, salad, or stuffed into tacos. This lime-cilantro slaw especially pairs well with fish tacos! So many options.

Is this Cilantro Lime Slaw Gluten and Dairy-Free?

Since this cilantro lime cabbage slaw has no mayo, it’s naturally gluten and dairy-free! I love how easy this one is to make, and it being naturally gluten and dairy-free makes it that much better.

This Cilantro Lime Slaw can be served in so many different ways–and they all taste delicious!

Fish tacos have a special place in my heart, so I LOVE this slaw with fish tacos or in a fish taco bowl. It’s also great with other taco bowls or taco salads. It’s a Mexican-inspired dish with cilantro and jalapenos, so it pairs well with similar flavors. It’d also be great stuffed in a BBQ pulled pork sandwich like in this recipe.
