Ingredients
4medium russet potatoes1030g
1Tbsp.avocado or olive oil15g
2-3tsp.kosher salt
1/2tsp.garlic powder
Instructions
Wash and dry the potatoes. Use a fry cutter or slice your potato into thin slices like a loaf of bread, then cut each of those slices into skinny french fries. I don’t bother peeling, but you can if you prefer! Add the dry, unseasoned fries to your air fryer or a large parchment-lined/greased baking sheet. Air fry at 400°F, or bake at 425°F for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Toss every 6-8 minutes in the air-fryer, or toss halfway through if using the oven. (The oven might need a little longer cook time.)
When they’re browned and crispy, remove from the air/fryer oven, toss or spray with oil, and season generously with salt and a little garlic. You can get creative and add any of your favorite seasonings here, too! Seasoned salt, paprika, onion powder, parsley… Enjoy immediately!
