Air Fryer Blackened Mahi Mahi

Ingredients

  • 4 Fillets Mahi Mahi (448 g)
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 2 tsp Chili powder
  • 2 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Garlic
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 °F for a few minutes.
  • If your fish is frozen, run under water for just a minute so the outside isn’t rock hard and the spices can stick to it. But you don’t need to thaw!
  • Mix spices together to create your blackening rub.
  • Split blakening rub evenly between the four filets.
  • Spray the tops with a spritz of olive oil spray.
  • Air-fry for 10-12 minutes or until the internal temp reaches 137 °F. If your fish is already thawed, just adjust cooking time to 8-10 minutes.
  • Remove and let rest for a minute. Squeeze some fresh lemon over the top and enjoy!
